Less Choices

Back

I want to push the gemini protocol. I really like it. There is this simplicity, reduction of choices that I like. Too many options can have a negative effect in the form of anxiety. Even practically, I never went into blogging because I couldn't have a nice web page setup I was happy with; I tried some static page generators with and without org-mode format. There were too many options to choose from.

Now, I only write text, put some headlines, some lists if I really want to. Even hosting is not an issue as I'm using the hosting service of the nice community of tilde.team. I think gemini can be used by people as an outlet; people who want to express themselves but are less technically inclined to build their own websites. It can really help with bandwidth as well.
