Agile vs. sloppiness

I saw a call for speakers for a conference on Agile product development that's not too far away from where I live. I was looking for the deadline when I saw this sentence:

We don't have a deadline for the call for speakers, and we'll just keep going and see what happens because we're Agile.

Don't try to justify your sloppiness with "Agile"!

Sometimes, I think that the only reason some people like Agile is not because they like its approach (they don't even try to understand what it really is) but because they think it justifies their lack of perspective, ideas, logic, creativity, and enthusiasm.
